In November 2024, the CDTI hosted the 12th Conference of the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation in Spain, titled ‘Beyond Horizon’. The event was held at the Oviedo Exhibition and Conference Centre with the participation of projects coordinated by Spanish entities that have obtained funding from Horizon Europe. EMERALD was selected to present a poster and represent impactful projects from Cluster 3: Civil security for society.

The main objective of the conference was to evaluate the initial years of Horizon Europe and its key initiatives. Additionally, the outcomes of Spain’s involvement in the programme were reviewed to draw conclusions that will help Spanish entities enhance their participation strategies and positioning within Europe.

During the conference, Juncal Alonso Ibarra, the project coordinator of EMERALD, presented the EMERALD HE PROJECT in the poster session, engaging with members of the scientific community and sharing insights into our work on continuous Certification as a Service.

Her presentation sparked meaningful discussions, highlighting our project’s progress and potential impact.
